This Walkthrough is For Windows Users:
- Go to www.flassessments.com/ePATs
- Select Install Windows Launcher
- Depending on which Internet Browser you are using, the method may be different but you will want to save this file to a location that you can easily access.
- Once the download is complete, double-click the file to start the installer.
- Follow the prompts to install the program. Note: Use the default folder (recommended). This will add an ePAT Launcher icon to your desktop by default.
- After the ePAT Launcher has been installed, a new folder named “TestFiles” will need to be created in the ePAT installation directory, which can be found below.
- (64-bit) C:\Program Files (x86)\PEM\ePat\
Or - (32-bit) C:\Program Files\PEM\ePat\
The location can be either one of these directories dependent upon whether you have a 32-bit system or 64-bit system.
After you have located and entered the ePAT installation directory, you will want to create the TestFiles folder. You can do this by right-clicking with your mouse in a blank space, selecting New and then Folder. Be sure to name the folder TestFiles without a space between the two words.
- (64-bit) C:\Program Files (x86)\PEM\ePat\
- After you have completed the above steps, you are ready to download the practice tests.
- Go to www.flassessments.com/ePATs
- The practice tests will be listed under the TestNav Practice Tests section.
- Once you have located the practice test that you would like to install, you will want to click, download and save the ZIP file(Test File) to the TestFiles folder that you created in the above steps. When saving this file from within your Internet Browser you will want to navigate to the directory that you created the TestFiles folder in and place the file in TestFiles.
- Launch the ePAT Launcher from your desktop. You should now see the test listed under the tests to take.
